Everyone experiences difficult times in life and can feel unsure how to navigate through. I am here to guide you in overcoming obstacles and challenges. My belief is that we hold the power within ourselves to make necessary positive changes.
My purpose is to empower you in coming up with your own solutions and learn to channel your intuition. This will enable you to move forward in your life with confidence. All that is required of you is a little bit of motivation and willingness.
I enjoy working with a variety of clients, such as those who are experiencing symptoms related to substance use, anxiety, depression, attachment-related issues, relationship issues, life transitions, and low self-esteem. Lastly, I have experience in working with Veterans suffering from PTSD.
I am trained in a variety of Evidence-Based techniques that I utilize with clients on an individualized basis dependent on their specific needs. I am skilled at using elements of modalities such as motivational interviewing (MI), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I am also very familiar with the 12-step model and can weave in the principals in my clinical work. However, it is important to note that I am not providing services that are freely given at 12 step meetings, such as service, fellowship and sponsorship.
